Acoustic screens and dividers are modular acoustic panels used between desks, as area separators or as zone dividers in open offices. With NRC 0.55-0.85 absorption they improve concentration comfort while delivering visual privacy, corporate-colour palettes and flexible space layouts. Castor, fixed and desk-mounted variants available.
What is an acoustic screen / divider?
An acoustic screen partitions an open-plan office into zones using modular acoustic panels — without structural changes. The core is mineral wool or polyester wool, faced with fabric, felt or coated finish. It absorbs speech and reduces background noise that hurts concentration.
Types
- Desk-top screen: H 30-60 cm, clamps into the desk extrusion
- Floor screen on castors: H 120-180 cm, portable
- Fixed floor screen: bolted, permanent space split
- Ceiling-suspended (floating): hung from ceiling, room acoustics
- Modular combinations: linkable into L, T, U shapes
Technical data
- Core: mineral wool, polyester wool or recycled PET
- Surface: fabric, felt, coated PVC, wood-finished
- Thickness: 30 / 40 / 50 mm

Where they are used
- Open-plan offices and high-rise floors
- Call centres and operations
- Classrooms and group-study rooms
- Coworking and hot-desking
- Showrooms and customer-meeting areas
- Events and temporary trade-show stands
Advantages
- Fast install, no structural changes
- Visual + acoustic partitioning
- Aligns with corporate colours and brand identity
- Modular — re-arrangeable as the layout changes
- Castor models can be moved daily
How to plan coverage
Typical recommendation: 2-3 m² of absorbent surface per employee. Desk-top screens (H 50-60 cm) for immediate concentration, castor screens (H 150 cm) for meeting zones, ceiling-suspended pieces to lower the room's RT60. The combination of all three gives the best result.
